Power is fragmented among clans, workshops, and great master artisans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Respect and authority are earned through craftsmanship, not lineage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the most renowned figures are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Brokk and Sindri<\/strong> (also associated with the name <strong>Eitri<\/strong>) \u2014 legendary smiths, creators of Mj\u00f6lnir, Draupnir, and Gullinbursti.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dvalin<\/strong> \u2014 an ancestral dwarf associated with hidden wisdom and runic knowledge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cities, Forges, and Constructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Svartalfheim no posee ciudades abiertas como <a href=\"https:\/\/huellasdelpasado.eu\/en\/midgard-el-mundo-de-los-humanos\/\">Midgard<\/a>. However, they are wary, reserved, and deeply proud of their work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their greatest virtue is also their greatest shadow: secrecy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Relationship with other worlds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Svartalfheim maintains a primarily functional relationship with the other <a href=\"https:\/\/huellasdelpasado.eu\/en\/nueve-mundos-yggdrasil\/\">realms<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The gods depend on the dwarves for weapons and artifacts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dwarves rarely participate in wars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They prefer isolation and neutrality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Their power lies not in brute force, but in what they create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Svart\u00e1lfar (Dark Elves) and Dwarves (Dvergar)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In some sources \u2014 especially later traditions and <strong>Snorri Sturluson<\/strong> Snorri Sturluson\u2019s Prose Edda \u2014 <strong>the Svart\u00e1lfar (dark elves)<\/strong>appear as subterranean beings associated with craftsmanship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are described as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>underground dwellers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>bound to darkness and earth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>connected to caves, stone, and minerals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>linked to the creation of magical objects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For this reason, Svart\u00e1lfar and dvergar may overlap, functioning as different names for the same group of subterranean beings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Svartalfheim and Ragnar\u00f6k<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The sources do not detail Svartalfheim\u2019s specific fate during <a href=\"https:\/\/huellasdelpasado.eu\/en\/ragnarok-mitologia-nordica\/\">Ragnar\u00f6k<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But in this realm, the universe is not sustained by laws or armies: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>it is
