A cold, dark, and silent \ndomain that existed even before the creation of the world as we know it. Together with \nMuspelheim, it represents one of the primordial poles of the universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nature and Atmosphere<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Norse sources describe Niflheim as a bleak and inhospitable world:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Eternal, dense mists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Endless glaciers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Frozen, lifeless plains<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Icy rivers and perpetual frost<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A deep, near-absolute silence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Light is scarce and diffuse, barely perceptible. Everything seems suspended in a state of primordial stillness, as if time itself had not yet begun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hvergelmir. It was one of the necessary conditions for existence to begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inhabitants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Niflheim does not host civilizations or ruling gods.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within it exist:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Impersonal forces of cold<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Primordial entities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creatures bound to ice, mist, and death<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>More than a populated realm, Niflheim represents a fundamental state of the universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Relationship with other worlds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Niflheim remains largely isolated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It does not participate in divine wars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It does not intervene in the conflicts of the gods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Its influence is silent yet constantIts influence is silent yet constant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Its cold balances the fire of Muspelheim and sustains the delicate cosmic equilibrium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because even in <a href=\"https:\/\/huellasdelpasado.eu\/en\/mitologia-nordica\/\">Norse mythology<\/a>, the universe requires opposites.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Niflheim es uno de los mundos m\u00e1s antiguos del cosmos n\u00f3rdico.
